Mr. Ahmed is the Founder, Chairman & CEO of International Finance & Development Corporation (IFDC), a New York-based global investment banking and a diversified private equity invest group established in 2001, with affiliates and representative offices in more than 50 countries worldwide. Spanning a business career of 30 years, Mr. Ahmed has been involved in various businesses, including global investment banking, private equity investment, energy, and infrastructure project financing, real estate investment and development, hotel & resorts, and physical trading of agro and petroleum products. Mr. Ahmed enjoys an extensive network within the financial world, including having direct access to some of the world’s largest private and institutional equity funds, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds. Mr. Ahmed is the Founder and Co-Chairman of Millennium Holdings Limited and principal investor and developer of a mixed-use development project developing under Millennium Holdings that consists of two upscale 5 Star hotels (Hilton and Hyatt), a 250,000-SF shopping mall, and a commercial tower located in the heart of Capitol City Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mr. Ahmed is President & CEO of Pacific Pearl Hotel Mgmt NYC, LLC, a JV company of Pacific Pearl Hotels (PPH) formally known as American Property Management Corporation (APMC) based in San Diego, California is one of the nation’s leading top ranked hotel owners and operators in North America. PPH has acquired and managed approximately 110 hotels worth over $3.5 billion USD of hotels and resorts throughout the U.S., Spain, and Mexico during the past 28 years.
